Getting Started

  1. Download QuickMapViewer and run the executable.
    You can grab it from the download page.
  2. Open the map file in your preferred text editor.
    Recommended: VSCode with Mr.aoisupersix's Bve5 Language Support plugin.
  3. Open the same map file in QuickMapViewer.
  4. Use Win + ← (or →) to tile both windows side by side.
  5. Edit your map in the text editor, then press Ctrl + S.
  6. See the results in QuickMapViewer right away, in under 0.5 seconds!

Tip: QuickMapViewer watches the file for changes. You only need to save. No need to manually reload.
